The build begins with filling the ejector pin marks inside the cargo bed with putty. The wood texture lost during the sanding was later restored with an art knife.

A layer of dark grey color had been applied as the basis for chipping effect.

Another paint layer of dark yellow had later been painted over the dark grey paintwork. Areas around the edges and corners of the model had been sanded, exposing the underlying grey color, and thus creating a chipping effect

White oil paint was applied at the edges of the model and later blended using thinner to create a faded effect.

Dust effects had been added both inside and outside the vehicle.
